With a strategy that is intentional and purposeful, meeting your CPD obligations is no longer a tick-box exercise.
Ensuring the CPD you participate in is aligned with your short- and long-term career goals, and integrates seamlessly into your busy schedule.
Grow your network of supportive, like-minded colleagues, all with shared experiences and a deep understanding of the realities of our veterinary profession.
As fellow practicing clinicians, we have an intimate understanding of the challenges you face; and as our veterinary clinics and hospitals are busier than ever, we know that finding the time to prioritise and engage in your professional development is difficult. This firsthand experience fuels our commitment to provide you with easily-accessible strategic guidance; professional development that is practical, convenient, and of the highest quality; and a community that supports your career progression. But don’t just take our word for it …
You are not feeling satisfied, career-wise
You have a lack of clarity around your purpose
You have lost your spark or forgotten your “why”
You feel out of the loop when it comes to advances in veterinary medicine
You are not doing enough of what brings you joy in practice
You don’t have a strategy when it comes to professional development
Your clinical progression has come to a halt
You think of CPD as merely a tick-box exercise
If you said “YES” to any of the above, we can help. A career that brings you joy, seamless work-life integration, and sustainability within the profession is absolutely possible. You just need a plan. And a community that will support you to implement that plan.
At Platinum CPD we know that you want to be a happy, healthy and fulfilled veterinary professional. In order to do that, you need to make a commitment to prioritising your ongoing development … and a strategic plan. However, the problem is not having the time in your busy schedule to routinely reflect on your career goals and engage in the right type of CPD, leaving you feeling like you’ve lost your spark and you’re no longer progressing.
We believe that the current busy-ness we are all experiencing in practice is the new normal. We understand that you and your team are constantly under the pump, making it challenging to be proactive and intentional about your professional development plans, which is precisely why we exist, to do the heavy lifting for you.

In 2006, Dr Emma McConnell began the career she had always dreamed of. Like so many veterinary professionals, Emma had dreamt of becoming a veterinarian since childhood, and it is safe to say that the past 17 years have not disappointed.
Her veterinary career has taken her across the globe, from Australia - to the UK - to South Africa - and back home to Oz, as she pursued her passion for equine medicine and the goal of becoming a Specialist.
Thanks to the mentorship and guidance she has received over the years, along with a clear strategy and sense of purpose, she has cultivated a highly satisfying and diverse career.
And she truly does have the best of ALL-worlds - as a clinical academic, company director, entrepreneur, podcast host, wife, and most special of all, new mum to baby Daisy. Now who says you can’t have it all!
A self-confessed “happy healthy vet”, Emma is passionate about helping fellow veterinary professionals gain clarity around their purpose within the profession, uncover their own veterinary ‘uniqueness’, and support them in their professional development journey … all so they too can have happy, healthy and sustainable veterinary careers.
