& Support

Grow your network of supportive, like-minded colleagues, all with shared experiences and a deep understanding of the realities of our veterinary profession.

As fellow practicing clinicians, we have an intimate understanding of the challenges you face; and as our veterinary clinics and hospitals are busier than ever, we know that finding the time to prioritise and engage in your professional development is difficult. This firsthand experience fuels our commitment to provide you with easily-accessible strategic guidance; professional development that is practical, convenient, and of the highest quality; and a community that supports your career progression. But don’t just take our word for it …

"I was looking for a distance CPD in internal medicine. I wanted something practical, case-based, preferably with a mentor because I felt like I needed more personalized guidance at my stage of medicine. The course with Andrea Harvey and Ellie Mardell looked promising in all these aspects and I must say, it totally exceeded my expectations. I am not afraid of any complicated feline patient now because I know that if I follow the template for clinical reasoning I learned at the course, my logical approach will lead me to the diagnosis."

"Thank you Emma for a great CPD evening last night. I REALLY enjoyed the format. It was lovely to be able to chat to the speakers beforehand and makes me much more likely to call/ refer to them (in case speakers need incentive!). I loved the case discussion way of learning."

"If you are looking for an interactive, informative CPD experience, you need to check out Platinum CPD! I attended the Nurse's Role in Veterinary Dentistry and was blown away by the quality of the content and the speaker Dr Kevin Ng. All of my questions were met with open ears and passionate informed responses, I couldn't recommend them more highly. Thank you Platinum CPD and Dr Kevin, our dental procedures in clinic will be much more efficient after your tips and tricks!"

"This weekend was really just what I needed. And that sentiment was echoed by all the delegates who attended. To be able to spend three days with like-minded women, in a calm and supportive environment, discussing and workshopping many of the real issues and concerns that many of us are facing on a daily basis, was just incredible. I think everyone came away with a lot to think about, and some very real plans and practical tools to improve their quality of life, both in and out of the workplace"

Meet our Director

In 2006, Dr Emma McConnell began the career she had always dreamed of. Like so many veterinary professionals, Emma had dreamt of becoming a veterinarian since childhood, and it is safe to say that the past 17 years have not disappointed.

Her veterinary career has taken her across the globe, from Australia - to the UK - to South Africa - and back home to Oz, as she pursued her passion for equine medicine and the goal of becoming a Specialist.

Thanks to the mentorship and guidance she has received over the years, along with a clear strategy and sense of purpose, she has cultivated a highly satisfying and diverse career.

And she truly does have the best of ALL-worlds - as a clinical academic, company director, entrepreneur, podcast host, wife, and most special of all, new mum to baby Daisy. Now who says you can’t have it all!

A self-confessed “happy healthy vet”, Emma is passionate about helping fellow veterinary professionals gain clarity around their purpose within the profession, uncover their own veterinary ‘uniqueness’, and support them in their professional development journey … all so they too can have happy, healthy and sustainable veterinary careers.
