Ellie graduated from the University of Sydney in 2002. After spending six months in mixed practice just outside Melbourne, she moved into small animal practice and has subsequently worked in Melbourne, the UK, and Perth. Having always had a strong interest in anaesthesia and analgesia, she completed her Membership of the Australian College of Veterinary Anaesthesia in 2007 and later that year started a residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at Murdoch University. In 2013 she obtained her Masters in Veterinary Anaesthesia and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Ellie enjoys the challenge of anaesthetising a wide variety of species and a has a particular interest in the anaesthesia of the critically-ill patient.
