She has owned rabbits for nearly 40 years, and has been treating them as veterinarian in the UK and now Australia for almost 15 years. When she emigrated from the UK 10 yrs ago she left her exotics training and became a qualified Emergency and Critical Care clinician, where she saw many rabbit emergencies.
Three years ago she decided to put her passion for all things “rabbity,” and her promise to provide the best possible standards of care into practice by opening her own Melbourne-wide rabbit only service. She has taught vets, nurses and vet students in many aspects of rabbit medicine and surgery, and her special interests include emergency and critical care, neurological and gastrointestinal problems.
