#009 – Veterinary medicine wasn’t always on the cards for Dr Eliza O’Callaghan, and it was only after a stint at law school did she realise that science was actually far more interesting! In this episode, Eliza chats candidly about her experiences as a veterinarian so far, including how she decided to make the move from Melbourne (by way of Perth), to sunny California. She opens up about the differences between veterinary practice in the USA versus Australia, what veterinary happiness truly means to her and how she has managed to curate a career that truly fits the needs of her life in this moment. And as a fellow chi-chi enthusiast, no conversation with the vibrant Eliza would be complete without hearing about the travels and adventures of her short-haired chihuahua, Rill! This episode is full of sparkle, and it’s hard not to be inspired by Lize’s infectious charm!
