#007 Cattle Medicine + An Equine Internship + A Long-Distance Relationship = 2 Thriving Recent Graduates

#007 - Maddi Mason and Billy Koutsourakis are two recent graduates that are absolutely thriving in their relatively new roles as veterinary surgeons. But it hasn't been without hard work, dedication and some sacrifice. Not only did their relationship survive the rollercoaster that is vet school (which is no mean feat), they then made the difficult decision to commit to a long-distance relationship, so that they could both pursue their ideal first jobs - a decision that naturally led to some challenges, but sure has paid off.

In this episode, we chat about how it is possible to prioritise your own goals and dreams, whilst also supporting your partner and their career; how long-distance relationships really can work; and the tools you need to thrive (not just survive) as a recent graduate in veterinary practice.

Get ready to feel inspired (or re-inspired) by this incredibly energetic and passionate couple; and if they are anything to go by, the future of our veterinary profession is in very safe hands.
